Sheffield Cultural Assets Strategy, UK

One of the major cities in the UK, Sheffield has an impressive cultural offer. This includes the largest theatre complex outside London, a very vibrant visual arts sector, some incredible museums, and an infamous live music scene. This study explored how the cultural assets of the city benchmark against other comparable cities in the UK and across Europe. It tested with the cultural sector how infrastructure can be improved and identified opportunities to position culture to the heart of the planning and development process.
