20 Years of the Performing Rights Society Foundation. An Evaluation

The PRS Foundation has for 20 years invested in the future of music by supporting talent development and new music across the UK; enabling songwriters and composers of all backgrounds to realise their potential and reach audiences across the world. The portfolio of talent it has supported is extraordinary. It spans all genres and has seeded the development of some of the best loved and most acclaimed artists of our time. It works to champion and invest in a diversity of talent to support the creation, performance and promotion of outstanding new music in any genre; enable the most talented music creators to realise their potential; and inspire audiences. TFCC has worked closely with the PRS Foundation over the last decade, with evaluations of the Momentum Fund, Women Make Music and Musicians in Residence programme. This evaluation allowed us to reflect on a 20 year story and to build a picture of the musicians supported and the impact this has had on the creative health of the nation.
